In November of 2011 you helped us in the selection and installation of a Trane gas furnace to replace the old oil burner. Since then we have saved so much on heating cost our money pit is overflowing so we decided to check out the addition of central air conditioning to help dispose of the overflow of wealth.
We enjoyed working with you in the past.

Last night your great crew (Duane Howard, Jose Hernandez) worked till 7:30 pm to assure everything was completed and the job site absolutely cleaned up, on our upstairs- attic installed, horizontal flow XV-95 gas furnace installation. The guys did a great job and worked hard non-stop from 0800 am, and into the evening. The installation was first class, fit the space much better than the original installation, and they took care of a number of modifications, I asked for, on the “fly”, and got things done right.
The proof was immediately evident in the comfort of the second story rooms of our home. ALL ROOMS now have a balanced heat flow and are much more comfortable. Just as Jason indicated it would be, after several vent and damper modifications were completed. As with my previous downstairs furnace replacement, last year (2010), I would like to thank all of you at Tri County and especially; Jason, Duane and Jose, for a first class job.
You will always get my endorsement, and a couple of neighbors already asked what we had done this morning, and I pointed them only to Tri County Temp Control!!

Just wanted to let you know that the service we have received from your office staff and Ron, who came out to service our furnace, was wonderful. The staff who answered the phone and set up the appointments was friendly and helpful.
Ron did a great job servicing the furnace and was patient and clear in showing us how to clean the filters. He also explained how to use and program the thermostat in a way that made it simple and sooooo easy to understand. We had tried to figure it out from the manual but it was so dense and confusing we resorted to simply turning it off and on. Now, thanks to Ron, we have it programed and are maximizing all the features of the system.
Just thought someone would like to know!

Chris explained all the business matter very clearly, and Justin took great care in installing the furnace, as well as making sure everything was working correctly. The service from these men is an asset to your company. There was another gentleman who worked on the project, but I can't remember his name. (Maybe John?) They all need to be commented.

Our heating system was playing up and we asked NW Natural for a quote. Lisa Preble and Karin Saltz came to our home and the meeting was not stressful and informative. The furnace died and we accepted a second recommendation from Karin.
Thursday, 7 February, NW Natural announced their arrival, explained what they would be doing and silently departed a couple of hours later leaving our property almost as found. Impressive.
TriCounty staff was on our property for two days and were pleasant and efficient. They caused us no disruption but our dogs certainly interfered with their work. No mess was left and all our questions were answered.

I had an installation of a new gas furnace in October. This involved replacing an existing older gas furnace. I was very pleased with the installer's work for a number of reasons.
First, new ducting was installed which had to run a length under the ceiling of the garage, quite exposed. He was able to make it look quite aesthetically appealing by wrapping the duct in white vinyl over the insulation.
Second he was extremely thorough, and patiently explained the many set up options for the new furnace and thermostat to me. I had a number of technical questions which he was able to answer clearly.
Third, after the installation was completed, he told me that if there were any problems to call him directly, since he would be the most familiar with what he'd done, and could troubleshoot issues most easily. I was very impressed by this "ownership," which I have not seen with other companies. It certainly makes sense.
Shortly after the installation I noticed a vibration problem when the unit was running at full force, with the vibrations being transmitted into the adjoining utility room. I called him and he thought it over and proposed a solution. He thought this related to the prior installation of the air conditioner not using a strong enough base. He proposed to strengthen the base and wrap it with insulation. He was injured before he could complete this, but again I was very impressed to get a call from the office three or so weeks later indicating that he was back on the job and he wanted [remembered!] to schedule an appointment to fix the vibration. I will comment that this solution worked perfectly, so obviously he is very bright and has good troubleshooting skills.
I think the installer will go far in your organization, with good interpersonal skills, good troubleshooting and problem solving skills, obvious pride in his work, and strong orientation toward customer satisfaction.

In later summer we attended a home & garden show where your company had a booth. We had been attempting for some time to obtain straight forward, honest answers in regards to pricing on replacing our Trane heat pump. Mr. Chris Rickles was in attendance at your booth. After much discussion we decided to allow Mr. Rickles to contact us for an appointment even though we weren't convinced he would give us the exact breakdown in pricing we were looking for.
Mr. Rickles contacted us and on September 17 came to our home. After reviewing our needs, he offered us a quote. No, the quote was not the lowest we had received but, it was the most straight forward and honest one we had received. He was very open with us and explained everything we wanted to know in easy to understand detail. He worked with us on determining on how to meet our needs and wishes for our replacement unit. Needless, to say, we agreed to an installation. Mr. Rickles is an exceptional sales person.
On October 28, a 2-man crew from Tri County arrived in a very timely manner. They proceeded to dismantle our old unit without destroying it so that Habitat for Humanity could re-use it. They worked for 2 days installing our unit and verifying everything worked to our satisfaction. These 2 gentlemen showed an understanding of their jobs as well as the ability to deal with exacting customers. They also tool the time to explain each step they took and to point out any issues or problems when they arose. They not only did an exceptional job of installation, they corrected mistakes made by the previous installer of our original unit.
We would like for Tri County to know and acknowledge all of these gentlemen for the fantastic job they did. We feel if we run into any issues in the future that we can call on Mr. Rickles for assistance without fear of getting the brush-off now that the sale is complete. We also want to pass on our sincere thanks for a job well-done.

On May 4th and 5th, we had a new furnace and air conditioning installed. From the initial meeting with Chris Rickles through installation by John Winter and Paul, it was a very pleasant experience.
Chris covered all the bases. With his knowledge of the equipment, his demeanor, flexibility for meeting times, and follow-through, he instilled a sense of trust. Chris was able to answer all of our questions and his recommendations for duct cleaning and electrical work proved to be excellent choices as well.
John and Paul were punctual, efficient, and friendly. John explained what would take place each day they would be here and they kept to that schedule. The quality of workmanship is superior and they cleaned up all of the debris when the work was done.
When it was necessary to speak to an office staff person, they were friendly and their explanations and messages were understandable and complete.
We will highly recommend Tri County to everyone we know, or to anyone who should ask for our opinion. Thank you for a job well-done!
